Smart Technology cohort at the Golden Age Club!
This cohort is being offered by the First Nations Regional Adult Education Center to our elders in Kahnawake. This cohort is providing our elders to recognize their cellphones are not just a phone, but actually a handheld computer. They are learning the features that can be used to make their daily lives more organized. An emphasis is teaching the elders about SCAMS and how to identify it. Another focus is on protecting personal data and what information should not be shared. The cohort is very informative and enjoyed by all in a friendly atmosphere.
